The Infinity Escape is one of the most popular chairs from our Infinity reviews guide. Having the backing of an incredibly reputable brand, the Escape can provide you with luxurious relaxing and sustainability that its competitors simply cannot. A big reason the Escape has become instantly popular is that Infinity has a proven track record of success. With the Escape, Infinity re-engineered a lot of the technical aspects and upgraded their padding, rollers, and pricing. In this review, you will find out everything you need to know about the Escape, and that includes the good and bad. The Escape might not be for everybody, but so far we haven’t found anybody who doesn’t love its versatile massaging and total performance. Read on to find out more about this powerhouse chair!
Main Features
Massage Programs
The Escape has 9 massage programs that can be accessed using the remote. Although at first glance it looks like there are only 4 automatic programs. When you go into the menu, you will notice the following four massage programs.
- Renew
- Recover
- Stretch
- Relief
You can also find the “Special Programs” option that lets you pick between another 5 programs. The chair actually ends up with 9 total programs which are more than its sister massage chair, the Infinity 8500.
The Escape also pays attention to the nerves on your spinal column. They are bundled together which causes fatigue, tension, and stiffness. To counterattack that pressure, the Escape uses pressurized massage strokes. These continuous strokes are long and target the lumbar region while also improving circulation. Merely using the Escape for 15 minutes a day makes a huge impact on how the body deals with tension.

Zero Gravity, Adjustments, and Body Alignment
Eliminating aches and pain within your vertebral discs is vital to having a healthy spine. The Escape helps you do that with zero gravity reclining and improving the S-shape of your spine.
How?
The first was through zero gravity, and the second is by using automatic and manual adjustments.
- Massage Strength
- Speed
- Width
- Air Intensity
Having a 47” inch roller system is a good sign for folks that need a chair that gets into the hamstrings and gluteus muscles. The Escape has some of the most invigorating massage programs because of its great track roller system, especially considering it covers 33% more than the standard massage chair today.
The Escapes attention to shape and structuring is what helps reduce built up tension within the body. Its rollers use a slide rail that conforms to the curves of the spine and in the process help improve posture while still massaging all the right areas. Moreover, the advanced airbag system and shiatsu swivel seat move from side-to-side to help correct spinal issues. Having all these “body focused” features along with heating pads and a reliable foot unit that uses sole massagers, the Escape is able to deliver a full body experience.
Technology - 7.8/10
The Escape has a bunch of little technical features that make using it more straightforward. From the people that tested the Escape, the “Quick Relaxation” feature was the one that made getting into a massage the easiest. Instead of going into the menu settings and picking a program, you can hit the Quick Relaxation button and go directly into an automatic program.
Infinity also included instructions in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese, these can be useful when you are working out the 10, 20, and 30 minute time increments.
Technologically, you will be impressed with the foot and sole massage. It was re-created to provide increased coverage, and more importantly, to provide comprehensive coverage. The focus was on giving users a reflexology foot massage that would provide relief and concurrently provide a re-engineered heel rubber that reduces pain.
Design - 9.6/10
When considering the great technology, programs, price, and durability, having the design of the Escape rank above them all is quite impressive. The upholstery is extremely clean, and the black leather is simple, but one of the most capturing out of all the chairs. Its compact sizing also adds to its modern aesthetic and makes consumers love it. By limiting the space it takes up and still looking good, the Escape’s design is the most exciting part.
Comfort - 8.2/10
For a compact massage chair, the Escape is more comfortable than we expected. The compact sizing might seem smaller for bigger people, but it can easily support folks tall as 6’4 and weighing up to 285 lbs. Overall, its shoulder padding was positioned correctly, the lower body portion had comforting placement for your calves, and the sitting positioning was soft enough to sit and watch TV. The only change we would recommend would be finding a way to increase the weight capacity, even though it is hard for a small chair.
Durability & Warranty - 8.8/10
We have two close associates that have had the Escape for over a year now without any problems. We have also looked through reviews from consumers and have found no complaints about the chair having structural or technical issues over time.
In the warranty department, the Escape comes with a 3 year Peace of Mind Warranty that covers the labor, framework, and parts of the chair. This includes the cost of labor and parts for the first year (free) and the cost of the parts for the second year (free). Furthermore, the structural framework carries an extra year warranty which totals up to 3 years.
Price - 8.3/10
Assessing price is often difficult because there isn’t a concrete guide that lays out an appropriate pricing module. More often than not, finding a massage chair under $3000 that has advanced features and is durable is difficult. There are only a handful of chairs that meet this requirement. With the Escape, we found that the pricing was fair. You could go with a competitor that is a bit cheaper, but you would be giving up a certain level of brand security and quality.
